What’s one thing that nearly all people will say they don’t like to do? If there’s one thing, it would have to be that we don’t like to wait in a line. It can seem, especially while we’re waiting, to be a waste of time. It seems also that there are many other, better things someone could be doing, instead of waiting. If a person lives in Southern California, for instance, he or she could be out enjoying the beach, maybe sunbathing or even surfing incredible waves. Unfortunately, however, most of the time, waiting in a line is unavoidable. If you want to go on a ride at an amusement park, more often than not you’ll have to wait in a line. If you want to go to buy groceries at a supermarket, you’ll probably wait in a line, and if you want to go to the DMV to get your CA DMV registration, you’ll have to take a number, and yes, you’ll have to wait in a line. You may even have to wait for a very, very, very long time.
If waiting in line at the DMV doesn’t sound good, there are a few things you can do. You could read a book while waiting; just make sure you don’t fall asleep. You could also strike up a conversation with the person next to you, who is also waiting in a line, or you could avoid this waiting altogether. You could complete your California vehicle registration online, and then spend the rest of your day doing something else that you really like, being thankful that this time you didn’t have to wait in a line.
When you want to get a
