We decided to have a party a couple of years ago and couldn’t come up with a name so we called it West Coast swing mania. My dance friends and me put it up on our social media like Facebook and some put it on their My Space, then we posted it on various swing online bulletin boards like swingorama and finally we designed a flyer in half sheets and printed them on postcards to hand out at every dance venue that we attended. Our goal was to have a huge dance party. We had secured the use of the Dancetime Center on a Saturday night. It was partly out of curiousity that we did this, we wanted to see if a bunch of us promoted a dance party could we get a hundred people. We even invited a team of kids to perform a salsa routine at the dance event. When the night was finished we had exceeded our expectations with 150 people in attendance at our west coast swing San Diego Mania.
The Best Sleeping Bag Pads
You really cannot underestimate how important comfort and a good night of sleep is for when you’re camping, backpacking or hiking. You can be in the greatest outdoor area in the world, having a fantastic time, but if you only get 3 hours of good sleep in, you’re not going to be having a fun time the next day.
Which is why it is so important to carefully consider different sleeping bag pads before you end up purchasing one. Staying warm in a good sleeping bag is important, but so is having enough padding underneath you.
Similarly, a sleeping bag pad big enough to make it so that you don’t roll off in the middle of the night is also important. For those that sleep without moving, a mummy shaped sleeping bag pad is fine, but for those who tend to roll around a bit in their sleep, a rectangular pad is likely more appropriate.
